Twin State Sand and Gravel was established in 1947 to help supply concrete aggregates for the construction of Wilder Dam. We continue to provide high quality construction materials for use in concrete asphalt paving, utility construction, municipal road maintenance, erosion control, site development and a host of other uses.
The source for all of our gravel and ledge products is our Hartland Quarry in North Hartland, Vermont. The quarry sits on the eastern edge of the Ammonoosuc Thrust Fault. To view descriptions of the construction aggregates and materials, and their historic origins, please visit gravel materials and ledge materials.
Our quarry is fully permitted to Act 250 and the materials are certified by State of Vermont geologists. In line with our commitment to environmental stewardship, we have mitigated our impacts by setting aside and protecting over 250 acres of wildlife habitat adjacent to the quarry.
Materials are available at our West Lebanon sales yard on Elm Street West off Seminary Hill. We will load any size vehicle or you can shovel your own.
